We’re Heather Vickery and Alan Seales, two perfect strangers who met by chance and embraced opportunity! Listen in as we chat with other successful people about the risks they took, and continue taking, to put themselves on a path to creative success.

Is a North Carolina native with over 20 years of direct, hands-on experience in TV, film, and theatre. He has been an actor, singer, dancer, producer, director of photography, audio engineer, and editor, in addition to utilizing his computer science degree to work for several of the top tech companies in existence. He is currently the Global Program Manager for Google’s Talks at Google speaker series ( which is responsible for bringing in the world’s top talents in their respective fields to share their knowledge and inspire people on a global scale. His unique approach to hosting creates direct, real, human conversations that elevate The Theatre Podcast conversations to a heightened level of intimate curiosity. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and two sons.

Alan is also the Executive Producer, Podcast Host, Co-Founder & CTO of Broadway Podcast Network.

An award-winning business owner and global leader with over 20 years as an entrepreneur. She the CEO + Founder of Vickery and Co, a success and leadership coaching firm dedicated to helping creatives and entrepreneurs build greater personal and professional fulfillment by helping them leverage their fear into intentional bravery. Heather says “When we choose bravely, on purpose, we choose bigger, win successes and it’s contagious.” Heather is a single mom of four (all girls!) who left a decade-long marriage and came out (yes, of the closet) personally and professionally.  She’s on a mission to create a global, “everyday brave” revolution. Heather is the best selling author of F*CK FEARLESS: Making The Brave Leap, Gratitude Journal: Shift Your Focus, and Grow Grateful: A Gratitude Journal for Kids and Families. She is also the host and executive producer of The Brave Files Podcast sharing stories from people who have stepped out of fear and into bravery in every possible way.


When Heather’s not coaching, podcasting, volunteering, or hanging out with her family you’ll probably find her reading, at the theater, on a long walk with a good friend, or playing around on Twitter.
